Actually kicks complete and utter @ss, that game is so freeking awesome, Im playing through it again right now. After every chapter I use the cinema feature to watch myself cut foes to peices, literally! That man is a genius, pure genius. Game should have got 10s across the board.
make yet another game that helps you show off "the power of the cell" but does nothing for the customer/gamer. The gameplay in this is non existant, it consists of literally watching grass grow.
Im supposed to pay 60 bux for this? an ad for the "power of the cell", Sony is actually asking us to pay for an ad for their console, what a flipping joke. News flash, this could be done on 360, and at half the cost.
Your right, Uncharted was not Japanese, you helped make my point!
So only one Japanese PS3 exclusive has anything close to "next gen" instead of two.
360 or PS3 JRPGs are all halfbaked to me, besides, the 360 games are being made by the same folks who make PS2 and future PS3 JRPGs, these games would suck just as much on PS3. Having said all that, 7.1 is not a bad score in the first dam place so all this is pointless!
JRPGs all suck, the Japanese are stuck in the gen before last as far as game development goes. They are now the worst devs in the business when it comes to inovation.
With the exception of Uncharted, all the Japan made PS3 exclusives have been just pretty PS2 games. MGS4 was an exception as well since they actually innovated and improved that game in some areas.
The only reason JRPGs did well in the past is because they were on PS2 and most reviewers are Playsta...
gets at least one new game every Wednesday, what is so crappy about that?
@ss is better than tits by the way.
Sony has yet to prove that they have any clue as to what they are doing at any point in this gen, they are completely clueless, and dont say bluray cuz that was actually a very stupid move, almost cost them the entire PS brand, and has left the PS3 in 3rd place, all while bluray is catching on super slow outside of gaming.
but Sony will do it. Sony could care less about "current install base" they have proven that time and time again. Frequent price drops, adding and subtracting features. Sony cares more about future sales then anything else, and if 512mb can make that happen then so be it.
And they will do this because they got away with screwing current install base before so they will do it again. This is what happens when no one conplains about anything a company does, they get bold...
I have to admit, this does indeed look better than Killzone2.
This game will be a huge flop, but it will be a flop for the gamers, and a hit in the reviews. Oh sure it will get a bunch of 9s and 10s, but people who buy it will be bored with it after 2 hours of gameplay, because in reality, it most likely will be a boring and weird game. Reviewers will give it high scores only because they are the ones hyping it and they will not want to make fools of themselves. But trust me folks, it will suck, its just too kiddy for our American tastes, we Americans n...
i saw the video, but i think Sony is telling fibs again, either that or the game will consist of a video that plays while letting you pretend that you are controlling it.
You see folks with both 360 and PS3 you get good gameplay or good graphics, you dont get both. MS tends to sacrifice graphics for gameplay, Sony tends to sacrifice gameplay for graphics. Neither console is powerful enough, at least not with current development skills, to have both gameplay and graphics at top...
do realize that they are both CGI dont you? Cuz I dont think any of you do.
runs multiplatform games just fine, its PS3 that struggles to keep up in multiplatform situations.
As for two discs, well that sure beats waiting for each act to load onto the hard drive, hel it beats long PS3 load times and mandatory installs as well.
is quite feesable, keep in mind the PS2 started off losing money as well, probably did so for the first half of its life, the PS3 has lost tons of money and still is. It has lost game console money, plus the bluray costs. Plus all the poor software sales and games that cost a fortune to make yet turned out to be duds.
"but when I look at those formats, (two 360 SKUs)I think it just confuses the audience. They don't know which one to buy, developers don't know which one to create for, and retailers don't know which one to stock."
"So I think we wouldn't take that strategy. We wouldn't create confusion," he concluded. --Phil Harrison
Have the fuzz wtf does that mean?
But yes I would rather pop out one set of rechargeable batts and pop in another set and keep playing, instead of having to stop playing wait for the controller to charge and then restart.
The 360 is just better designed when it comes to user freindly features folks, no doubt about that. PS3 seems to have been laid out by a complete idiot, what is with the charge cable being like 12 inches? and whats with having to have the cons...
my brother has a PS3 and the bluetooth controllers randomly drop out and he loses control in the middle of gaming, the 360 controllers are fine. Besides, I have a harmony remote that controls my entire entertainment system, if 360 were blutooth, it would not work, just like remotes dont work with PS3, lame.
So what are all these games that have been coming out on PS3 this summer?
360 has had far more exclusives this year than the big black box.
Whats wrong with you people, brain washed much?
Depends who you ask, as far as gamers go, both will win, PS3 and 360 are both great consoles. Now as for Sales, once again, neither will lose, PS3 will sell enough to survive over time, and the 360 will also survive with price drops coming and the 200 dollar sweet spot on the horizon.
Now if we measure income to the corporate parents, 360 wins by far, the PS3 is a losing platform, their online is free, they make little cash off acessaries, and MS is killing them in software sa...
"its been out longer" argument is played out, Sony should be able to launch a service with full rental and purchase capabilities just like MS did. The fact that Sony's service is late only means it should have been better and more refined, since they had an example of a working service in XBL, and also since they should be making an effort to outperform the competition for the sake of their customers who paid more for the PS3.
Bottom line, Sony is still stumbling aro...
they are building it at a loss does not mean it can't still be too expensive. If someone hand builds you a F-22 from scratch and it cost them 10 billion, but they only charged you 5 billion, that would not make 5 billion a small amount of money, it is still too much money!
Planes should not cost that much, not even the F-22.
And consoles should not cost 400 dollars, let alone 5 and 6 hundred, its too expensive. And dont say bluray cuz no DVD player should cost ...
